The oldest part of the villa, half of which was built underground, is the 13th-century lowered barrel vault wine cellar with many tunnels which were used long ago as underground passageways to other heritage residences or as escape tunnels.
There is also a bar where guests can enjoy the typical local wines and beers also in the evenings when there is live music.
